Improv Troupe’s Success at Art Center Leads to Return Engagement

Offshoot Productions’ Gallery Players, an improvisation troupe which wowed February and March audiences at the Fayette Art Center and Gallery, returns to the intimate venue on Friday, April 4, with a whole new show.

“Each performance is a partnership with the audience,” explained Offshoot artistic director Susan M. Steadman, Ph.D, who helms the group. “The content of the scenes is always different, depending on the audience input. We even give a few brave folks in the audience a chance to interact on stage with the actors.”

The fun begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and the proceeds benefit both nonprofit companies, the Fayette Art Center and Gallery and Offshoot Productions. Reservations may be made in person at the Fayette Art Center, 2011 West Highway 54, Fayetteville (across from Ace Hardware), by phone at (770) 631-2780, and online at fayetteartcenter@bellsouth.net.
