Gallery Players Return to Gallery Row on September 7

After an audience-pleasing initial performance at the Gallery Row coffee shop in Peachtree City, the Gallery Players improvisation troupe is set to return on Sunday evening, September 7.

This Offshoot Productions ensemble features diverse actors ranging in age from twenties to fifties and with a variety of backgrounds in theatre and music. Rehearsals and several performances have enabled the Players to develop into a cohesive and very funny troupe. Actors include Elizabeth Clausen, Andy Fleming, Kristi Israel, Betty Mitchell, Paige Steadman and Joey Waldrop, all of whom have appeared in previous Offshoot shows over the years.

The director, Susan M. Steadman, has staged nearly 70 productions for professional, alternative, community and university theatres. While establishing the first theatre program at the University of Michigan, Dearborn, she led a popular improvisation troupe and has widely taught improvisation techniques. A Dramatists Guild member and produced playwright, she has also authored many publications on theatrical literature and practice. She holds a Ph.D. in Theatre from Louisiana State University.

Gallery Row’s Peachtree City location is 1255 North Peachtree Parkway, in the Kedron shopping center. A $10 cover charge, which may be paid at the door, includes complimentary coffee, with mouth-watering desserts available for purchase. Reservations are suggested.
